OfficeSheet

OfficeSheet is a family of Smart Client applications for Microsoft Windows computing platforms each of which is the client for a particular “host” or “server” application commonly used in office or information rich environments.

The most common “host” applications for OfficeSheet smart clients are the Microsoft Office ™ suite of products such as Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Powerpoint, Ms Outlook etc.
There are (or will be in the near future) OfficeSheet Smart Clients for these and other applications such as Adobe Acrobat or PDF files, Open Office Applications and other common information applications. In some cases the Smart Clients have a direct automation interface to the “host” application.

This is the case with all Microsoft Office applications. In other cases the Smart Client is interfaced in a loosely-coupled manner by accessing and processing data files emitted by and edited in the host application environment.
